SOUND GOOD?

Then let's get started, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

STEP 1: TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By checking the boxes below, I confirm that the following statements are true:

CULTURAL APPROPRIATION

In our ongoing attempt to make One Of A Kind a welcoming and inclusive event for everyone, we want to make sure our community is aware of the harmful impacts of cultural appropriation. Please review the information at the below link so that you can become informed about this topic and reflect critically about your own creative practices before you submit your re-booking form.

A Note About Cultural Appropriation

We believe passionately in the future of craft and celebrating all of our creators, regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, education and national origin. All of us have the capacity to learn and change, and we want to invite everyone to reflect, refine and perfect their work so that together, we can continue to celebrate the best in craft at One Of A Kind.

HEALTH + SAFETY

Participation in this year's show will come with an additional set of rules and regulations to ensure we run a safe event for all. By checking the box below, you are agreeing that your participation will comply with any provided regulations or precautions set out for this year's show, which include:

2021 ONE OF A KIND WINTER SHOW UPDATES

We are having to reimagine our show to keep our community safe while preserving what we all love most about One Of A Kind. Changes you can expect to see this year include:

  • Hosting a smaller event. We will have around 400 exhibitors and we forecast being able to welcome up to 80 000 visitors throughout the 11 days in the current provincial reopening framework.
  • Using a timed ticket system. We have Timed Tickets in place to manage crowds and to check proof of vaccination.
  • Flavours Sampling. To prevent crowds and congestion, there will be no food and beverage sampling at the Flavours section at this year’s event. All items sold at the Flavours section will be packaged for home consumption.
  • Late Night Shopping: To prevent crowds and congestions, we will pause Late Night Shopping for this year’s event.
  • No programming: This means there will be no main stage, workshops, competition, or fashion shows so the focus can solely be on connecting with exhibitors.
  • Continuing to follow the latest guidelines from the government. We have seen that capacity limits have increased and we will continue to follow guidelines from the government.

We also will have a number of safety measures to keep our staff, exhibitors, and community safe. A full Health and Safety Plan will be released closer to the event, but given the recent announcements from Ontario, here is what you can expect:

  • Proof of Vaccination. One Of A Kind will require proof of vaccination for all visitors, exhibitors, sponsors, staff and contractors at the upcoming 2021 One Of A Kind Winter Show.
  • Mandatory Face Covering. An approved mask is required to be worn covering the nose, mouth, and chin at all times except while eating and drinking in designated areas.
  • Contactless Ticketing. All tickets will be provided digitally. There will be NO re-admission or re-entry passes at this year’s event.
  • Contact Tracing. For contact tracing purposes, the ticket purchaser will be considered the primary contact for any guests and will be expected to have contact info for each member of their party.
  • Self-Assessment Declarations. We will ask all individuals entering the Show to complete a COVID-19 customer screening declaration before entering the event.
  • Minimum Physical Contact. At this year’s event, please consider a contact-free approach to greetings and consider using QR codes in your booth instead of printed materials.
  • Enhanced Sanitization and Building Ventilation.

Please note that all restrictions and requirements are subject to change. Please refer to our website often for current guidelines.
